Fast Lane Daily hit the near-by coffee shop and had a word with the media-mogul known as the one, the only, Tinabeth Pina. Hear's the scoop on Ms. Tb:
Name: Tinabeth Pina (Tb) Job Title: Reporter, Writer, Producer, or as Tb puts it, "Someone who's just trying to make some moolah!" FLD: What was the first car you've ever driven? Tinabeth: A 1972 Mercedes Benz S-Class. What do you drive now? Nothing because I donated it. But it was a 1976 BMW 2002 automatic. Worst car you've ever driven? A 1991 Chevy Cavalier; when it rained I got wet inside the car! Most embarrassing accident? None in a car, but once...on a driving lawn mower... Do you have any turn ons or offs? I hate dirty fingernails, but I do love a guy that can do a mean chicken dance. Dave Matthews or DMX? DMX - ya'll gonna make me loose my mind! What's something about you that no one would guess? Back in the day I was a nationally ranked runner. Best in the state of Pennsylvania. I also collect pineapple because in Spanish, my last name means pineapple. Quick Bio: Tinabeth's communications career started when she was a DJ at Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania and launched the first bilingual radio show in the Lehigh Valley featuring all styles of Latin music. After graduation, she went on to work for Time Warner, ABC, FOX and the former WB network where she won an Emmy for her contributions to VIVA!, a nationally syndicated program that showcases Latinos in entertainment. In 2003, she was also the lifestyles, entertainment and youth expert for Plus Media and hosted a variety of satellite media tours for them. She was also the Spanish language narrator of 5 United Nations video news releases (UNFPA). |
