You can actually hear alex's mouth trying to move faster than she is able to read the script. Breathe!! Her mouth will go from 0 - mumbling (insert the high pitched IN) less time than it takes for DD to gel his hair.

I'm an idiot. An a-hole. My apologies to everyone, especially to Alex and Derek for the prior comment.

First? Maybe. We'll see when the video is done...

ALEX!! I like the old STi better too. I had a 2004 and it was great, except at the pump. Small tank and 21 mpg the way I drove it.

I wonder if cylinder deactivation is dynamic, or if the same bank gets shutdown, resulting in uneven engine wear. Chevy may not have thought that far ahead, since they like people to buy a new one in 3-4 years.

They make new versions of the STi because sales are crap. It's boring, ugly, and Evo, sadly is kicking its butt.

The new Lotus is nice, but give me the new buffed Exige.

Wow Zonda is 10. I still want a McLaren a little more, but the Zonda is still awesome. Ouch if an R8 and GT-R collided. I want to go play with a GT-R on the isle of man! Alex, want to come with me??

Happy the Camaro is getting a stick; the leather-wrapped stick looks nice.

    Nice promo at the end....

Lotus does not have a design one in their body... Or maybe it is just that they dont have a dime in the bank account. Quit trying to pass off the same design every day with something new here or there. That design was great, when i first saw it a decade ago.

God i miss automotive designers... Next you will be telling me the Ferrari California is sexy. BUHLAH!!!!!!!

Mercator - "cylinder deactivation" doesn't mean the parts stop moving, just the fuel and the spark are cut off.

Cadillac had it built into the Northstar V8 as a way to cool the engine in case of a complete lose of coolant. Without gas and spark the engine just cycles cool air through the engine.

How about a spoiler warning, guys?! I watched this episode as I was downloading episode 5 of Top Gear, in which the Stig takes his lap in the GT-R. You ruined it for me. Thanks.

is it just me or does the camaro look decidedly more bug-eyed than the previous concept versions? me no likey. oh well it's still a gorgeous car.

what i'm really disappointed about though, is the new lotus. it's not edgy or fast-looking enough to compete with stunners like the r8, the gtr, or the corvette, and it certainly doesn't have the same visual appeal as the elise. but it still kicks ass, which is good.

and i'm still deciding on the new look for the zonda (how can it already be 10???). knowing pagani, it'll be awesome no matter what it ends up looking like.

Do not get your undies in a bundle...episode 5 does not even mention anything about the crash at all.

  • chavm481 wrote on July 22, 8:14 pm

im not really a beliver of the gtr crash but there are many black, red, and silver ones! also... how did the damage go evenliy allover the back when an r8 is a pointy, low, and small car...

Of the three next-gen comeback musclecars this Camaro is simply the best looking and seems to present the most complete and convincing package ( stunning looks, performance, general comfort and convenience ). I actually much prefer the look ( exterior, interior ) of this Camaro over their premium supercar Corvette.
    Evora-ugly evolution of the Elise/Exige.

    Welcome Back Alex.

    Evora = UGLY
I'll take an Exige any time of the Day!
