Sweet. Thanks to you I just watched the TopGear episode. Damn it was awesome. The GTR snapped Clarkston's neck, literally! And, as much of a Vette guy as I am...you really have to agree that from a technology standpoint this car is playing on a much different level than the Vette. The frikin thing knows when its arrived at a race track, and automatically turns off its speed limiter when it does. Its really awesome. Im a convert. Mad Props.

I love the new retro-Camaro, but havent they been unveiling it for the last 2 years? it is not exciting news anymore; just get it out already. Its like the Tesla.

    Volvo C30R looks nice.

No need to throw out more compliments on the ultimate badass car from Japan that is the GTR. Does Audi make Volvo's as well? As for the Ford Mustang...not a fan, but I'm betting on another let down. Harvey Dent is Two-Face!

To clarify: I dont think electronic doo-dads are more important than having an awesome chassis setup. Of course the GTR is phenomenal in this area, too....but I still have tip my hat to the Z06. And, the Z06 has a Heads-Up-Display which is pretty sweet. Im surprised that Japan's GTR doesnt have one, actually...it would make sense.

GT-R owns. Camaro is too little too late. I mean c'mon... we've seen this car for years, and all the buzz really fell flat. GM is off the mark, again, and stuff like brembos only in the front show they are still half-assing production.

The 2010 mustang pace car is just stupid. I understand why they want to make hype, but it would be funny as hell if they lifted off the black cloth to find... a 2008 Mustang!

Batman...Audi does not make Volvo cars, but Ford does own a good portion.

I don't think I'll ever be impressed by a Camaro, but did DD say the 3.6 produces 296hp from a V6? Hmm, may want to go over that figure again. Ford's V6 4.0 from the Mustang produces just 210hp.

as surprising as it may sound i'm definitely rooting for the ZR1 to kick the GT-R's ass on the 'ring and on the Top Gear test track (whenever that may be)...Derek D is the man, good show

    * "exceptional build quality"

Camaro Interior is CRAPTASTIC! The exterior has body panels in different orbits. The gaps are large enough to eat small children & pedestrians. Look at where the hood meets the fenders, etc.

How close can I get to ordering a Maro ZR-1? Should it be a Z-28 SS RS Cabrio? It'll be a porker at over > 2 tonnes. 0-60 will be over 5-6 seconds! :(((

There should be a Camaro that is faster than a Caddi CTS-V shouldnt there?! I want mine to beat it on the Nurnburgring!

    What about T-TOP???

GTR is impressive. Why no cabrio model? I know structural rigidity, blah blah. But hey, u only live once.

I doubt you will see the ZR1 or any other Vette on Top Gear, they don't really care for American cars.
People have such short memories it wasn't that long ago that a BMW held the title at the Ring yet no one seems to think it is a threat any more, or any other car for that matter. I predict that there will be a new "King of the Ring" and it will be niether the Vette or the GTR. I mean no disrespect to either car I have driven the Z06 and it was a phenomenal piece of machinery, as I am sure the GTR is. As was mentioned, any car that can snap Clarkson's neck has got to be incredible.

As for the Camaro to late to the dance. I have always liked the late 60 styling of the Camaro but they should have had the car on the sales floor two years ago.

    Good show!

i think the mustang is just a toned-down version of the giugaro mustang from a little while back. all they did with that is curve the body panels inwards, so they made the exterior of the car as small as possible while still keeping the same bulky frame.

Wow who would have guessed a beached whale could move so fast? Nissan obviously.
I'm still waiting for Veilside to do their version of it - i think 2000hp is possible.

Well the corvette has already made an appearance on top gear along with the mustang Kr.. And no they weren't well received.
