    FIRST BETCHES!!!

I like the Lotus. I'd buy one. I don't think the Flex will sell well it's unique but I wouldn't look at it twice. DD got carrie back for yesterday. Nice change in the show it should be done more often.

  • Sean (guest) wrote on July 16, 5:11 pm

17/24 for Flex is still not good. And that's for the FWD version....

  • Charioteer wrote on July 16, 5:25 pm100 Award

    Lotus Eagle is pretty cool.

Flex design looks nice and clean.

GM, you wanna cut $10Bil? Try eliminating or merging some Divisions and stop putting out so many models which people dont really care about (ex: Lucerne).

  • mik (guest) wrote on July 16, 6:03 pm

    Good show DD.

GM, try focusing on a few models and do them great instead of a lot just OK.

...and for more flex design features check out LandRover.com

  • gaz55max wrote on July 16, 6:45 pm

Lotus should be frank and say this ain't a "new" car but another re-bodied Elise/Exige.
GM should and must downsize to remain relevant - in their range of cars as well with their various brands. Keep Chevrolet and Cadillac and shut the rest, will not be easy but that's reality.
Porsche has never designed cars for a very long time now - truth be told they just design phones, watches and the likes and rehash the 911 into different types of body configuration.

haha @ DD gettin back at Carrie...Not sure what i think of the Ford Flex, i mean, its like you said Square, doesn't really look THAT nice, although seems like it has a shitload of room..It's obviously a family car, but the MPG's suck (i think)

  • rugrats (guest) wrote on July 16, 7:58 pm

Thsi dude is not funny no matterhow hard he tries.

  • Mercator (guest) wrote on July 16, 8:06 pm

Umm you can't do it as well as Carrie. Stick to the clown schtick because you can't beat the girls otherwise.

GM still making SUVs and giant caddies shows they are still clueless.

Staters and county sheriffs in my area (eastern WA state) drive 10 over or more, routinely. I've also watched a few of them run red lights by flipping on their lights and sirens, only to turn them off when they get through the intersection. LAME.

Flex is stupid. It is a Taurus with looks ripped off of Land Rover. MPG is low. Noone can unload their guzzlers, so why not make more! Make something that big with 30 mpg, you would make money. This is going to work as well as the voice operated GPS.

DD - lay off Carrie. She owned you and you are pouting. Take your pwnage, go hop on your box and get ready for the next show!

  • erik123 wrote on July 16, 8:16 pm

Mercator, some people do need SUV's, they are not going to just stop because you don't need one.

  • MINI Swooper (guest) wrote on July 16, 8:34 pm

Now I know where boring cars come from, Boring Designers!

It looks like Ford took some Amish guy shaved his head blinged out the carriage and then tossed in two hookers for good measure.

Copying a MINI clubman and a xB is not going to work. If he would had sausage something might have popped out of the refrigerator.

  • swinglow33 wrote on July 16, 8:51 pm100 Award

Ok, DD is really dying here trying to make fun of Carrie. Really...its sad to see.

Nice segment with Matt on the Ford Flex. But...I don't want to see the vehicle driving around in traffic. Take it on a closed circuit and let's see how it performs. Show us how the interior can be utilized. And who were those 2 chicks in the back anyways?
And your right Erik123. Some people DO need SUVs, yeah...but most people use them as their everyday vehicle. Who needs something that seats 5+ people, and driving just themselves to work. Its wasteful.

  • VeeDubb wrote on July 16, 8:58 pm

DD FTW! HAHA you guys sound so desperate when you talk about carrie, you have no chance with her....

Hey FLD when we gettin some new VW news??

  • flowcycle2 (guest) wrote on July 16, 8:59 pm

flowcycle is derek. the only person who thinks dereks funny is derek, ok..

  • stevec (guest) wrote on July 16, 9:10 pm

wow...for the flex being ford's most original design, it looks a whole lot like a copy of the scion xb...lol

  • Lukas (guest) wrote on July 17, 7:20 am

Nice show. Good to see car review segment - something different. Flex is interesting - It's a cross-over between xB and Land Rover :-) I need to check it out at the dealership. And mpg is not good, but I guess it's due to it's boxiness and weight. Maybe they should have implement 500's powerplant and it's CVT/4WD setup. My friend's Marquis did 26mpg while loaded with 4 ppl and doing 80+ mph on their way to FLA.

  • chavm481 wrote on July 17, 11:28 am

i dont like the flex :(

  • Mike (guest) wrote on July 17, 2:02 pm

The Eagle looks cool, but the Ford Flex???

Why would you do a story about yet another crappy ass American car that probably won't sell and will have a production life of no more than 2 years???

  • mrwheeler wrote on July 18, 3:53 pm

    Nice burn DD. Carie sucks.

  • G419_sucks (guest) wrote on July 22, 8:56 am

This guy from Garage 419 is like hearing my grandma talk about cars. He SUCKS! They have that bada$$ style logo on their website and he is about as hardcore as a lego toy. He is a wanker and i cannot believe that i wasted my time watching his boring a$$ segment here. I have more fun searching my a$$ for zits with a mirror. Get this dude off of here!!! Derek D is great and then wrapped up with wanker dork kills me and is worthless!!!
