What a piece of shit interview. Come on guys, rachet it up a bit. The Derek thing is getting old.

  • GTslO wrote on June 20, 8:07 pm

I agree... horrid horrid interview. Both of those cars made me throw up in my mouth a little. Why the hell would someone do that to a Chevelle?!?

  • IamTheStig (guest) wrote on June 20, 9:39 pm

I can't belive I waited that long for that episode. I usually try to stick up for FLD but that was a useless and irrelivent interview with crappy cars. Still love Alex

Let the battle begin. NSX, LF-A, and the GTR.

  • 3GMike (guest) wrote on June 20, 10:28 pm

    Dude, who cares..
Everyone knows the only honda I'm ever going to buy is a LAWNMOWER

  • gaz55max wrote on June 21, 2:51 am

Wow beat the mighty Godzilla... It'll be the battle of the mighty Japanese giants - Toyota/Lexus (LFA), Honda (NSX)and Nissan (GTR35) - against their Euro/American counterparts. Guess I know which country is gonna win...
Fat Boy Slim sucks, the muscle cars are great but those big-diam wheels sure ain't. Will just be another fad.

  • Dragon (guest) wrote on June 21, 5:09 am

I think DD has the right size to fit in an Lotus!!! He has the height of a nine year old kid and no knees!!! ;-)

The custom cars at the end of this episode are ´crap!!! So huge wheels doesn't fit on American Muscle it's just wrong!!!

  • Frank_is_Rad wrote on June 21, 11:54 am

You guys need to chill the hell out, i think those old school rides are beautiful, personally i wouldn't get the HUGE rims, but if you just look at the cars they are gorgeous...stop hating geez! Great job DD, and i'm a GIANTS FAN, go GMEN!!!

  • Pooty-Tang (guest) wrote on June 21, 2:33 pm

I like hearing about Honda throwing down the gauntlet to Nissan for Ring times. Once again, I like hearing about Manufacturers issuing serious perfrmance challenges to another...I hope more join in the battle. And dont count out the ZR1 in that battle (even though I still perfer the naturally-aspirated Z06). And I really hate to say something negative and be a 'hater'...but I was pretty disappointed at that 'special' interview at the end. No disrespect to Fat Boi who has decided to make a living off of customizing cars....but i think FLD couldve found a more legitimate/interesting performance-tuner shop and had a better interview with them. DD is awesome, but guys, give him some better subjects and prep him with some better questions at least. Maybe im being spoiled by the quality of what ive been seeing on G419 recently.
Anyway, sorry to be critical bu I had to share.
FLD still kicks ass and still gives me my daily fix and still look forward to whatever is coming in the future.

phatboislim-lameness. i'm not much for the lifted and candy look, low and tastefully understated is where its at and yes i'm black. so there u go. new nsx, i dont know i'm a big fan for the Nsx so to go from mid engine to a GT car is a lot to swallow, howeva great design and speed always make up or nostalgia anyday.

  • spades wrote on June 21, 10:40 pm

I never much cared for the whole giant wheel thing it is tacky to say the least but that may be because am into performance. good paint is always cool but a car is meant to move. And what is up with all of these guest haters

  • PHAT BOI SLIZIM (guest) wrote on June 21, 11:21 pm

F@cking Idiot. Dang check out dem sick tweny fos. I hope he crashes and dies.

  • swinglow33 wrote on June 22, 1:18 am100 Award

The NSX reminds me of the 6 series BMW and AUdi A5 coupes. This Honda may actually be a sweet looking ride that can back it up in performance.

Where the eff did you find this so called custom shop 'PhatBoiSlim"? Did 50 cent give you guys a tip or something. The representitive for the company FBS and 50 cent seem to have about the same education level and command of the English language. One would think that with their success, they would go back and attempt to finish high school. lol

Don't people realize that it takes more power to move the extra weight from the wheels? Umm, yeah....that makes sense. I guess they don't mind a 2-3 mile per gallon drop.

  • AvgasStew wrote on June 22, 2:21 am

correct me if im incorrect (I'm not american) but didnt the chevelle have a 454 to start with? I see that Fat Boi does to cars what inbreds do to farm animals. The candy is ok, but those wheels are horrid and the suspension has the worst work i have ever seen. Isn't it a great world where anyone can be a car customizer. But then again look at the music industry........

  • Uncle Craig (guest) wrote on June 22, 3:18 am

OH, MY EYES! Now you're profiling illiterate dudes who desecrate American Classics? Phat Boi Slim is phreakin' stoopid. LOL OMFG. Every time that Pimp-My-ride wannabe customizes a car, God kills a kitten.

And I love how they use tiny little brakes with that huge reciprocating mass with those "twenty fo's"...hope the owner filled out his organ donor card. And didn't I see a carburetor on that vile pile?

This is why I believe professional athletes are over paid...look how they squander their money. Guess you can take the man out of the hood, but not the hood out of the man. Peace out, yo... fo shizzle.

  • IamTheStig (guest) wrote on June 22, 4:54 am

supra mike I thought I was the only black person who liked understated cars. I'm glad thats not true.

  • whoosh (guest) wrote on June 22, 10:37 pm

EGAD--this presenter can't he better prepped or can't he ask questions properly??? I am blown away time and time again by the BBC TOP GEAR. they have really set the standard. So in keeping please if you're going to have that as an example, please Americans take a hint from TOP GEAR, inject some class and verve in creativity in the show, please

  • pimpinteddy wrote on June 23, 5:23 pm

ummm stick to in studio stuff, that was the worst interview ever made

  • Colleptic wrote on June 23, 6:57 pm

Those oversized rims on the SS looked simply HIDEOUS…how did that guy get on this show? Did he pay money?

Was that a horrible attempt at a burnout at the end…?

Whoever would put rims on a car that makes it nearly a foot higher, is just retarded…
