I don't think Danica will get a F1 test. According to some reports Nick Fry has already denied that the test was ever scheduled. As far as whether she should be in F1, I don't know. Honestly, if she behaves like she does at the IRL she won't be there long. The whole "he wrecked me so I'm going to beat him up" attitude just won't fly. Also, she's always complaining that the car's not fast enough or that it's undrivable and she's with one of the best teams in the League. The only good thing I know about Danica, other than her 1 win, is that she finished 2nd to Super Auguri/Honda's Anthony Davidson in the British Formula Ford a few years ago.

Danica in F1. It'll never happen. Probably never.
The sad thing about Mercury is that they actually recently started making good cars (MKS). They are better styled and equipped than Fords and are more reasonably priced than Lincoln. It's just about marketing. Look what Buick has done in the past six seven years (Enclave, Lucerne).
I mean I would never buy one but we're not talking Oldsmobile here. Mercury is a good brand.
WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH AMERICAN AUTO EXECS?

I say, yes to Danica. She may have an attitude, but if she wants to compete (and keep her job)...she'll have to learn to control it.

Hmm, Dodge Hornet...not exactly what I'd expect. Especially when you look back at what the Hornet used to look like.

Mercury never did it for me, so Ciao!

ummm im brazilian and i read the real report, it was only 800 km and the VW gol is pronounced (goal) and it was a 1.0 engine, he was not being allowed to renew the registration on his car because he refused to pay the ticket, then he was told that he had to pay the ticket then he could renew the registration, he was also a civil engineer and he argued the case so much publicly that they finally let him renew his registration.

    ALEX!

Danica should go NASCAR and make money with the other F1s. Going F1 would give her class, and her spaz at Indy (justified or not) showed that she was more in the NASCAR group than F1.

Dodge Hornet looks like the caliber and just as worthless.

Almost as worthless as that last joke Alan made Alex deliver. I still like Alex more. At least she calls bull when the joke is bad. DD just delivers it as best he can like a good little clown.

    It's a PR stunt

I just realized the MKS is Lincoln. Maybe Mercury needs to go after all.

    i love alex. DD sucks and i have nothing to say about cars. {commenter of the week for sure now}

Danica has won one race in her 3 year irl career, why would she even be considered for f1? Plus her attitude sucks.

  • David (guest) wrote on June 13, 2:57 pm

    Alex is the best

  • Chamo416 wrote on June 14, 1:34 pm

She is not good enough for Formula One..... I dont want her in the pinnacle of motor sports.

If Mercury is to stay, they need to do more than just rebadge Ford models...same goes with Lincold, I mean, look at what Cadillac has done it the past few years!

    Danica in F1? Never!
