Has anyone seen the 300mpg car? Check out this link.

I like the direction Ford 'may' be going with the powerplant in that new Mustang.

  • Lexbubbles wrote on June 6, 4:08 pm

The Bentley looks like something I'd create on NFS Underground. I hope the Ford guys lighhten up the Mustang because they sound great but are as heavy as Crown Vic. It's hard to take them too seriously even though the powertrain is good but they're just too beefty. I feel the same way about the Challenger. The body lines lighten the Dodge up visually however.

You guys don't read these comments by the way. If you did you'd probably quit.

  • IamTheStig (guest) wrote on June 6, 5:18 pm

Great show. Love the new 911 not sure about the dsg. I think people should stop bashing fld you don't have to watch it. Keep up the good work.

For the love of God, please bring back Ji Yung Min.

"New" Porsche? Um, well, it looks the same. It tastes the same. 0-60=4.3. Yawn! Today thats insomnia.

swindlow33 RE: Aptera. I'll wait til Car&Driver verifies the vehicle in testing. Until then, its all smoke.

Lexbubbles is right. Many 'Muscle Cars' are just too beefy. Mind you I luv em to bits, I just wish they could lighten up a bit{read A LOT!!!}!!!

PS. A final not to Alan K & producers. Just let DD do his own thing. He's finally finding his place & seems quite comfortable by now. Not overdoing it, just genuine.

Dare I say it? This episode actually made me laugh! :D

  • VeeDubb wrote on June 6, 8:24 pm

Awesome episode! This is why DD is the best host, ya never know what he's gonna do, and i get my car news...

That bentley would look good if not for that hideous hood, if it was all gold that would be awesome, and lose the wing...just my two cents

  • gaz55max wrote on June 6, 8:44 pm

To fix the Mustang - first get the weight down, second put in an independent rear suspension, third make it more muscular by creating rear fender haunches - just like what Dodge and Chevrolet did with their Challenger and Camaro and lastly tweak the V8 or even put in a turbo V6.

To fix Porsche - bring back the 924 and 928 --- *design a better Cayenne, *Boxter, Cayman, next-gen Panamera that does'nt look like a 911.
Give the 911 the respect and individuality that it deserves.

  • Mercator (guest) wrote on June 7, 3:20 am

The new 911 looks a little retro... to th early to mid 90's.

Nice to show bikes now and then. That VMax is crazy.

That Bentley is nuts. The PT cruiser is an alien.

Ford is gone mental. End of the show took a nose dive in the stupid bin, but *shrug*

    Are they serious!?

  • Charioteer wrote on June 8, 1:00 am100 Award

I think we have a new Commenter of the Week: the fucking Ford/Lincoln/Mercury Dealership Program!

Seriously, what the fuck Ralph. I was part of GM's Dealership Network communications out of Detroit...and you know what? We had the actual contact information of all the dealers in our network; we didnt have to spam comment boards to reach dealers who should be receiving normal monthly communications about our program options.

I thought I wrote some long annoying comments sometimes but this one seriously takes the cake and is downright spam. FLD Admins: Delete that shit-ass post. Lincoln/Merc dealer network: get your dealer communications program in order and stop spamming us with your acts of marketing desperation.

yo ralph wanna spam? go spam your moms ass, fuck you and you know what enjoy all the spam and porn ill be sending to the email you provided

  • Lexbubbles wrote on June 8, 7:06 pm

    @ Pimpinteddy: That was hilarious.

@ Ryan: I've seen World Class Driving. I think it's great. They have it all over the country and you get drive the cars all day. Plus they have an R8 and it's about 1/5 the cost of Supercarlife. The only thing is you drive the cars on closed streets. I'm not sure if that's better than a track. But they are street cars. Oh yeah they have in car cameras for proof. I'm doing it next year in Vegas.

  • Ryan44 (guest) wrote on June 9, 9:52 am

  • Ryan44 (guest) wrote on June 9, 9:54 am

hey FLD what ever happened to the FORD GT! Are they still making it? How fast is it compared to cars like the VIPER or corvette? And how much money is it to get one
