First!!!! ha. yeah not too surprised about Fast and the Furious 4, kinda saw it coming, hopefully its more like the first and second and less lik ethe third. as far as the M3 goes, i think he should get his M3. M1 on the way??? well we'll c. TTV10 R8 cant wait. thanx FLD.
Yea, he won that bmw square and fair, just becuse the people at the delaership took a risk and lost doent mean they shouldnt hold up to there end of the bargain, I smell a big fat lawsuit if they dont pony up that M3.
as far as ebay goes you take a chance on auctions they should give no sell the man his car for the price he won it for.they sure weren't going to give back any extra cash above msrp so maybe they should grow a pair or stop playing for keeps
Hmm, DD looking pretty comfortable playing with those balls. lol
Am I the only one to catch the mistake about the Audi RS6? They have the Avant model at the show, but you called it a sedan. The US may not get the sedan at all.
I can't believe those Euro-chump associates are gonna stiff this guy because they're a bunch of greedy Homo's - How dishonorable. It's not enough that they over charge here in the U.S. as it is while they look down their nose at us, but it's done so by Nazi sympathetic Americans. Their word will mean nothing after this. I hope the loss in sales to their organization is felt long and hard, just the way it is when they stick it to us.
Ebay terms and conditions state that an auction is legally binding, so if he won it he won it. The dealer risks loads of backlash if they don't honor their deal, I kinda hope they get sued.
The 3rd Fast and Furious was horid. Please God don't let a fourth movie where pimped up 'Slades and Hummers with flames painted on them make it to the theaters. Last I knew, rims over 22" were useless. A total waste of off-road badness.....And bread-box Scions.....seriously? blahhhhh.
The dealership should honor its eBay agreement. There are controls for sellers such as a reserve price for a reason, and stupidity is no excuse. If the car had sold for $1 they might at least get some sympathy, but a BMW went for a bit below what they'd have liked and it sounds like only about 10% below the buy-it-now price. Boo hoo! Do they let buyers back out if it turns out they're getting screwed on price? Oh well, nothing like being publicly called on trying to weasel out of a legal sales agreement.
DD is awesome! Good to be seeing him again every day if only during the auto show. Keep those balls in the air.
The dealership took the risk of loosing money when they put the car up for auction. So they shouldn't refuse to sell it too him for the winning bid of 60,000.
cant wait to see watt the new M1 is gona be looking like and cant wait for the fast and the furious 4 and those dudes in BMW are asshole and should hold up to the end of there deal i mean it BMW they should have there license for selling BMW taken away ASSHOLES
YO! The M1 needs to return. The dumbass, oh i mean car salesman @ the dealership that screwed up the ebay auction should be fired and the bidder should get the car just out of principle.
* usmusl - actually, if you look around, cars sold in the US are not only cheaper, then very often come with waaayyy more standard features! Especially European cars. I couldnt believe my eyes when I saw a 7 series BMW with cloth seats & manual rear windows! EVERY SINGLE LITTLE Thing is extra in EU. US cars come fully loaded + are wayyy cheaper.
300Csucker - Exactly. I was wondering the very same thing: What exactly was the MIN reserve?
In any case, since this is for a previous generation M3 (the new model is now available), I actually think 60K is was too much to pay anyway. I would rather put that towards the NEW Version Model M3.
And yes, if the dealer messed up, then they bear the consequences. If they don't, BMW should revoke their franchise agreement with immediate effect. Thanks for bringing this issue to light.
Ebay can be a paradise & a preying ground for crooks & criminals. I say a roller the other day & it showed 'Salvage Title'. So on one hand, we should be grateful for their honesty. On the other, it shouldnt even be on the market.
Fast and the Furious 4, eBay BMW M3, BMW M1, Audi R8 and RS6
24 March 2008
Early word of the next Fast and the Furious movie, an eBay heartache for a BMW fan, and a new BMW M1 could be on the way. Hosted by Derek DeAngelis, coming to you from the floor of the New York International Auto Show.

They kill Paul Walker's character in FF4... He's as sick of that crap as the rest of us.
Yea, he won that bmw square and fair, just becuse the people at the delaership took a risk and lost doent mean they shouldnt hold up to there end of the bargain, I smell a big fat lawsuit if they dont pony up that M3.
The dealer honors the M3 deal, or gets kicked off EBay.
FF4 is no surprise to me either. Cheap to make with no name actors, and they probably rent the cars or just clad up stock used cars.
The outtakes were funny. I like when DD looks like a dork. Makes me appreciate the days when Alex G hosts so much more.
Yo Derek D... Gimme' some of those block rockin' beats.
Hope your knee feels better.
bwaahahahaha, [/bangs head on desk]
hey Spinelli, that cake humor is a little dry!
how did the guy pay for the m3??? paypal ? visa? has he even paid yet? anyhow, he should get his winning bid ! eBay should enforce this !

Nice trip...I mean, show
Oh, as for the M3. Sellers mistake. The winning bid is a binding legal contract, and they should know that.

that guy should totally get the m3, he bid for it and won.

wicked funny episode keep em comin..i absolutely think the guy should get the M3. it blows my mind that the dealership can even get away with it.

A sale is a sale. If ebay allows a car dealer to do this we can all do it. There are rules on ebay, they have to play by them as well.
give the manwat he pai for....or sue the dealership for screing up..they hould have know the risk of ebay
