wow...im in awe of the headlamps on the new maxima...but Alex's are still better. seriously...maxima is looking agressive and i like what nissan is doing with their flagship sports-sedan.

you know everyone...I bet Alan Kay is just looking like that because hes been working long and hard getting ready for the NY Auto Show. I bet that next week, after the auto show, we're gonna see him showered, clean-shaven, and with a haircut. Anyone buying that?

Maximas dash look like the G35, front end looks like the old Q45..... So much for creativity. Alex is HOT

    Great show!

I love new Nissan look - finally something worth buying (in its class).

Charioteer - I'll bet you that Alan will stay the same after the show - there are more shows to get ready to :-)))

do all of these electric cars make anyone else laugh? i mean, its a good step towards lowering carbon emissions, but you still get the electricity to power them from burning fossil fuels. unless you have the car hooked up to a windmill or a nearby hydro-electric or geo-thermal plant, its not making a lot of difference.
hmmmmm, perhaps they should attach a windmill to the top of one of these cars, so when they drive along, they recharge themselves. anyone know how I can patent that idea?

Alex, looking fantastic as usual. Its nice to see a fresh face. She seems to be adjusting well after her first few weeks.

Maxima, not too bad for the cash. The engine is reliable and powerful. Wonder if they will pair it up with CVT like the 6th gens.
  • swinglow33 wrote on March 18, 4:42 pm:
The Maxima looks like the Camery and Accord morphed. And that dash looks like it has too much plastics and is cheap looking. Well, at least it has a decent engine.

Since when does a diecast toy maker know more about cars than the car companies? I'm sure Ferrari knows if they will release a new entry model. That sounds weird, entry level Ferrari. lol

    Good show by all!

Great news, presented by the most beautiful woman in New York.

When does Alex get to be listed under the 'HOST' link?
  • panoz1 wrote on March 18, 8:30 pm:
The best thing about all the auto shows, Derick has a job
working the concessions stands. And we get the female hosts. Hey when can we start posting pictures with our comments?
  • supramike wrote on March 18, 9:01 pm:
i'm pretty sure the new maxima's gonna grow on me, right now tho i'm feeling the head lights. Alex cant say enough how cute u r. u rock.

    BRING I.T. MAT BACK!
  • V_Guzman wrote on March 19, 1:36 am:
I think the new maxima is hideous. The headlights and the brakelights somewhat remind me of the blackbird\X-Jet from xmen...if the new 350z or 370z or whatever they are going to call it comes out with the same headlamps, i will forever hate the Z. yuck!

oh btw the host is pretty and all, but i kinda feel like im watching lazy town (with my kid of coarse) super enthusiastic and smiles too much with a voice of an angel. (real NYers dont smile) :P

Id honestly rather hear an aftermarket exhaust note of a supercharged audi RS4 (think MTM) synthesized to a human voice, host the show.

    But thats just me :D
  • jmbuytaert wrote on March 19, 9:01 am:
The Maxima looxs like a Civic from the back... I was expecting better from nissan. And the interior is pretty much Infiniti's G35's interior. Are designers getting bored? or underpaid maybe?
  • fast_human wrote on March 19, 9:04 pm:
Am I the only one who thinks that the Nissan "lunch box" is second only in ugliness to the Honda Element? Who the hell would by that thing?

Getting jacked for the auto show...Will DD and Carrie be there? I need to get a picture with Carrie...Yummy! Also, a pic with DD and Alex would be cool too!

Alex, tell Mercator to stop posting compliments about you on the forum...It's obvious that he is one of your friends or boyfriend, etc. I feel embarrassed for you because Mercator's attempts to elevate you make it obvious and transparent that he/she is someone who knows you personally. You do a great job as it is...We all like you, don't worry.
