yeah, it's a bit of a long shot IMO, but who knows..
Figure the Porsche 997TT has a top speed of ~193mph with 480hp, right? Multiple that by 1.875 to get 900 horsepower. The drag coefficient is probably a little higher as it's a convertible- but I'm sure they wouldn't test the car with the top down (?). Change the gearing [dramatically], improve the aerodynamics, pimp the engine, etc.
Remember, the Callaway Corvette Sledgehammer was a modified C4 Corvette sporting a twin turbo V8 producing 880 horsepower that topped at 254.7 miles per hour. And that was back in 1988- 19 years ago.
wait..........yep, its offical i just had a cargasm, son of a speedster, lol, i dont know if 243mph is right but then again i wouldnt put it past em, it can be done, and what better car to do it with its top down than a mod. Porsche 997, and even if it cant i'm sure the number is pretty damn close, 220 or more. plz follow this story i wanna know if its true or not.
less powerfull version of 9ff cabrio porsche with "only" 780 hp
